How we develop our medical simulations

The basis of all anatomical 3D models for our simulations is composed of real patient data, such as CT, MRI or ultrasound. As we support the idea of open source, we use Blender in our tool chain to model, refine and texture the 3D models. Realistic physical behaviour and special visual effects are then added by our code ninjas in the medical simulation platform to make a lifelike copy of the situation in an operation room. During development, we get continuous feedback from collaborating medical doctors to assure the high quality standard that we have at SenseGraphics. Only the best is good enough!
